Whitewater Classics – Fifty North American Rivers Picked by the Continent’s Leading Paddlers features top whitewater destination from the jungles of Mexico to the tundra of Alaska.

To select the classic rivers, author Tyler Williams asked fifty of North America’s most influential whitewater paddlers to each nominate a favorite run.  The results were as varied as the paddlers themselves, from racer Davey Hearn’s Potomac to freestyler Tanya Shuman’s Skookumchuck Tidal Rapids to expedition paddler Lars Holbek’s South Fork of the Merced.
