All in all a great product at a fair price - Oct 11, 2010

We live on the beach in Western Washington with year-around kayaking and canoeing in our front yard. We have three Necky's - an Eliza, a Chatham and a Cayuga - and two Old Town canoes, a 72-pound 17-foot Tripper and a 13-foot Hunter.
These racks came quickly in the mail, were easy to mount and hold a ton of weight. They are well-engineered to hold much more weight than a kayak or canoe will ever put on them, are easy to get a boat on and off and hold up to the wet northwest weather as well as anything I've used, including wooden racks (which get moldy).
All-in-all, it's a great product at a fair price that solved a problem for us in finding a compact and out of the sun place to store our plastic boats (we have a lot of jagged rocks and barnacles, and kayak and canoe dailty but can't see buying a glass boat because they scratch so easily). We needed a rack that was easy to mount, easy to use and durable, and this is. |
